These are the guidelines to qualified Saracens First Aiders, Team Managers and Coaches, effective 1st September 2011
Response to an injury
All first aiders at the club should remember to keep notes on any injury that they see and make sure they note down what they have done and who they passed the casualty on to.
If a serious injury occurs at the club this must be recorded in the Accident Book which is kept behind the bar in the clubhouse.
We are obliged to notify the RFU if an injury received results in the person being kept in hospital overnight. In the event of a player being kept in hospital overnight please report this to Jo Kelly (jo.kelly@blueyonder.co.uk 07854 375 220) who will work through the reporting process with you.
